Cabaret brilliance

10/09/2008 11:24:00 AM
WE would like to publicly congratulate the students and staff at Margaret River Senior High School for a sensational cabaret at the Community Recreational Centre last week.

It really was a tremendous evening and a credit to all involved, with spectacular dance routines, outstanding vocal performances (both solo and in band situations), virtuoso instrumentals and impressive dramatic monologues, all held together in consummate fashion by a pair of polished MCs (hard to believe they are still ‘only’ Year 10s).

The home economics students were not to be outdone either, as the evening’s food fare was truly scrumptious.

In keeping with the evening’s French theme, the cabaret truly was a tour de force and all staff and especially the students can be extremely proud of their achievements.

How lucky we are to have such talented students and dedicated teachers at our local school.
