WHAT a beautiful day for a trip to Busso.

After a quick pep talk from Coach Justin all the team was raring to go.

A confident start was made, as within the first minute Hudson Spooner made an excellent intercept, and then a centre pass to Donnie Longmore in front of goals who booted it for Munchers’ first goal.

The Dunsborough goalie was kept very busy with constant attempts made at goals.

A team working hard for each other had Hudson Spooner pass off to Zeke Jefferies who scored the second goal.

A brilliant job was done by Jaz Kupfer-Hollis who stopped any shot at goals by Dunsborough.

Zeke Jefferies made a great intercept and had a good finish, scoring Munchers’ third goal.

Nicolas Gaman was strong in the forward line, with some great passing to team-mates and making good position.

Passing down the line–Michael Andros to Donnie Longmore then to Jaz Kupfer-Hollis saw an awesome goal–straight past the keeper.

Michael (Power-Boot) Andros, Jamie (Rover) Rudrum, Bailen (The Assassin) Jennings and Pascoe (The Rock) Paice were unstoppable in defence, with very powerful kicking, supporting their goalkeeper at every opportunity–showing great speed and courage.

After much consultation and deliberation, as it was such a fantastic team effort, Hudson Spooner was the deserving winner of the Chooks Player of the Match.

What an exciting game of high standards and great entertainment for all spectators.
