THE Margaret River Boardriders Club was represented last weekend at the Surfboard Room surf league teams event at Scarborough Beach.
The team was captained by Andrew Sheridan who organised and led the team.
Andrew’s years of experience in teams event was invaluable as usual.
His cool head under pressure again helped the team through Saturday’s qualifying heats for a space in Sunday’s final.
Sunday’s surf was not the best but the team dug deep to make the best of what was available surf wise.
In the end it came down to the wire in a very close, hard fought final.
Margaret River finished a respectable second just being edged out by Perth Club, Triggs Point Boardriders, Cottesloe Boardriders came third, and Yallingup Boardriders finishedfourth.
Congratulations to the guys in the team and Andrew for the great effort put in by all of them over the two days of competition.
