THIS week eight women travelled to Capel to play in the South West Ladies District Championships, playing two days of Stroke, with Saturday being played in lovely conditions.
Sunday however was wet, windy and cold, resulting in very difficult playing conditions.
The conditions didn’t seem to bother Margaret River golfer Sue Bloxam, who was crowned this year’s South West Champion, coming in with a trifecta and winning the Championships Closed and Open Divisions, as well as the Silver Division and bringing the Championship Cup to Margaret River.
Well done Sue.
