13/10/2008 1:00:00 AM
A woman was treated for ''minor injuries'' on Saturday after being hit by a police boat on Lake Burley Griffin.

Police, who have issued only sketchy details of the incident, said the swimmer was struck about 4.30pm by the boat which was moving at ''low speed.''

She was taken aboard the vessel and brought to the Water Operations Base at Yarralumla before being taken to Canberra Hospital for treatment.

The police collision investigation and reconstructionteam are investigating the incident.
